Sean Payton says Broncos remained confident in Bo Nix: ‘He's our guy’
"(Bo Nix) is our guy," Broncos coach Sean Payton said Sunday. "It was good to see him play well." Denver Broncos coach Sean Payton has remained confident in his quarterback, Bo Nix, despite a series of poor performances that left fans and media questioning if he should have benched him. Following Nix's 222-yard, two-total-touchdown performance in a 30-16 win over the Arizona Cardinals, Payton reiterated his trust in Nix despite his struggles. Nix broke 200 passing yards for the third time this season, breaking a two-game slump where he failed to break 125 passing yards. Despite these struggles, Nix remains confident in the team's decision to keep Nix. The next game is crucial for Nix and the Broncos, where they will face the Kansas City Chiefs in an early competition for the AFC West title.
