Every opening and closing this week: Broadway bar that opened after the pandemic has closed
Plus: Openings include Risica in RiNo, the Pretzelry, Den Thai Street, Banh Mi House and more. The L on Broadway, a bar opened after the pandemic in 2021, has closed five years after it survived. The bar was founded by Adam Hodak and Alex Lerman, who took over a former pet food store at 46 Broadway. The closure came after multiple liquor license hearings were postponed due to lockdown logistics. The Pretzelry, a Philly-style soft pretzel vendor started five years ago, recently opened a full brick-and-mortar restaurant at 728 N. Lipan St. The RiNo neighborhood saw a number of high-profile openings and closures this week, including The Greenwich and Bluegrass Coffee & Bourbon Lounge.
