Denver Toy Store Vandalized, Pokémon Cards Stolen
Glass everywhere, a smashed display case, and missing Pokémon cards — Timbuk Toys in Denver is asking for help. Denver toy store Timbuk Toys was vandalized overnight, with multiple people stealing Pokémon and other trading cards. The store, located in the University Hills neighborhood, reported that the physical damage to the shop far exceeded what was taken. The thieves stole items such as Pokémon and trading cards, but only a limited amount of merchandise was taken, according to TimbUK Toys. The shop is now seeking any information that could help identify the perpetrators. The theft has led to an increase in thefts of Pokémon and sports cards beyond Colorado, with several incidents reported in the past involving four suspects and approximately $70,000 in stolen cards.
